How I make my brain work more efficiently

I am sure many of you who decided to read this article need the same help as I did some time ago. It does not even matter if you prepare yourself for some exam, or if you want to increase your cognitive functions and concentration level. The common reason is to improve the brain functions and make the brain work more efficiently. What is it needed for? To think, to create, to write, to read, to focus, to work, to study, to learn … enough reasons? I will try to give you some hints on how to help your brain and take the most out of it when necessary.

First of all, there should not be a surprise for you that appropriate and well-balanced nutrition scheme is a crucial aspect. Eating certain sources of food is necessary to provide your brain with top-quality fuel. Without this fuel, the effectiveness of your brain is the same like the effectiveness of a car without good-quality fuel. You have a car, you fill the tank without paying a closer attention to the quality of chosen fuel and you start the engine. Sometimes you can travel for hours without any problems, sometimes your engine does not even want to start working properly. The same situation happens to your organism, especially brain. Unless you provide low-quality fuel (nutrients) to your body, consisting of many redundant additives, you cannot expect your brain to do its best! That is why an appropriate nutrition, especially around the time of increased focus required, is significant. If you do not eat a well-balanced meal, full of crucial nutrients and ingredients, you will not be able to focus on your work or your training session. Am I right? Of course, I am!

Second option to improve the effectiveness of your brain functions are supplements. Yes! Natural and synthetic forms of some helpful products do wonders! I base on some proven and tested supplements that improve cognitive functions, increase the level of neurotransmitters, lower stress level, support adrenal cortex, enhance memory, boost motivation and energy and protect the nervous system. Enough science talk – this is the list of products that support my organism on a regular basis, and below them, you have the list of “support” I base on throughout really hard days requiring more focus and concentration.

Typical day:

  • Ashwagandha
  • Lecithin
  • Citocoline CDP Choline
  • Rhodiola Rosea
  • Astragalus
  • Ginseng mix – Korean Panax Ginseng, Panax Quinquefolius, Siberian Ginseng,

Busy day:

  • Ashwagandha
  • Lecithin
  • Citicoline CDP Choline
  • Huperzine-A
  • Rhodiola Rosea
  • Astragalus
  • Ginseng mix – Korean Panax Ginseng, Panax Quinquefolius, Siberian Ginseng,

+ sometimes Gotu Kola, Bacopa Monnieri, Benfotiamine and Sulbutiamine (two fat-soluble forms of B1 vitamin).

That is how it looks like in my case. I did not mention the doses because it is a very individual question and I do not want to recommend anything in advance. Some would say that taking so much stuff if sick, but is it? I have done my best to support my organism and each only for proven and tested sources of the products and I know what doses are safe for me. I am not trying to cheat my brain and other organs, I am trying to help them work efficiently when I need it. Hope this article has been interesting for you. Have a good time and do not hesitate to turn to me if any you need help!

Best regards,

Bart
